Following the well-deserved retirement of Louis Hopkins at the end of 2017, two rising stars in Challenge UK Ltd have been promoted into an entirely new organisation structure. Congratulations to Trevor Hopkins (pictured left) and Danny Bromley (pictured right), Wolverhampton’s new Operations Manager and Sales Manager, respectively.

These two managers report directly to Bill Cody, Challenge Group CEO and Chairman, who returned to the UK from Hong Kong and China 2 years ago with the aim of taking a more active role in our European operations.

With new staff in the sales team, a freshly renovated office and an extended warehouse, Trevor and Danny are leading a young, dynamic and invigorated team, eager to push to higher successes following the +21% year-on-year increase in turnover achieved in 2017.

As well as our knowledgeable and friendly office staff, you may also have the pleasure of coming across Peter Robbins and/or Kevin Scott who are both out on the road visiting customers.

Peter Robbins, a solutions-oriented and fully-qualified mechanical engineer, comes to the UK by way of Challenge Ireland in Dublin and is responsible for visiting customers in the UK and Ireland to highlight our full range of power transmission products and conveyor chains. Peter is a specialist in the recycling industry and in conveyor chains for all applications – he is promoting the wide range of standard and special conveyor chains produced in the dedicated Challenge conveyor chain factory in Ningbo.

Kevin Scott joined us in the middle of last year as Area Sales Manager and is promoting our full range of PT products to our trade customer base in the UK.

Both Peter and Kevin bring a wealth of knowledge and experience and they, plus Trevor, Danny and the full sales team look forward to serving your needs during 2018.
