Challenge Power Transmission UK Ltd was founded in 1996 and is both headquarters for the Challenge Group and the Challenge Regional Distribution Centre for Europe.

With over 5000sqm of warehousing space, Challenge UK carries large stocks of all Challenge products. Catering specifically to the distribution market, Challenge UK operates through 500 distributors across the region giving access to end users and OEMs in all industries and locations.

The Managing Director Louis Hopkins has been in the power transmission industry for more than 40 years. Previously he worked in the BSC bearings division and the PT division of Hayley bearings before joining Challenge in the mid 1980’s as International Sales Manager. He most recently returned to the UK in order to set up the new distribution centre in Wolverhampton.

The Wolverhampton warehouse is located in the UKs industrial heartland; servicing over 500 distributors every day.  The orders are taken by a team of dedicated sales engineers with decades of experience in the industry who organise the overnight deliveries to the distributors.

It is also from Wolverhampton that deliveries are made to mainland Europe, thanks to the increasingly efficient and competitive delivery systems and schedules; resulting in Wolverhampton being the centre of European operations. As a result of increased competitiveness, Challenge UK does not charge for delivery on most orders.
